Plush Cat Toys

There are many types of cat toys available, so many that choosing a toy can sometimes be difficult. Some people choose traditional mice toys, others get chase toys to give their pets exercise, while others choose plush cat toys. There are several advantages to these toys, such as their softness. They make a good multi-purpose toy: your cat can bat it around, chasing and pouncing on it; you can throw it for your pet to run after; or the cat can curl up with it to nap. These are a good choice for anyone who has an indoor cat and hardwood floors, as it will not scratch the floor like hard toys.

They are also good for older cats, who might want a toy to curl up with more than one to actively play with. Plush cat toys even appeal to the material instincts of female cats, giving them something to carry around and mother. There are many different types of plush toys, so you can find one perfect for any cat. For the motherly cat, a small, kitten shaped toy would be perfect. Something larger might be better for an older cat, providing a pillow as well as a toy. More active cats might want smaller plush toys made of strong materials, for chasing and chewing. Some even have catnip inside, which your cat will enjoy playing with and providing you with added entertainment while watching him. With or without catnip, your cat will have hours of fun with a plush toy.
